i broke the fast around 6pm last night (~3 days), so i could have a little christmas dinner with my mom; i ate a quality steak, a pack of hamburger, and less than a pack of raspberries. the inflammation is lowest it will be, and it isn't comfortable with the increased sharpness. now the trick is holding off this sharpness of pain and not "comfort" eating, while trying to be as productive as i can before i ultimately eat some junk and it throws everything completely off again. the lumbar surgery is already tentatively booked, and ball is rolling on the prolactinoma removal surgery - nothing more for me to do yet in regards to 2 potential avenues for that to happen

~50 hours water fasting; pain sharper but lower energy so not as traumatizing, body temperature feeling a bit cooler as expected; if i break my fast tonight, to be a 3-day fast, i may do it an hour early and then would have a christmas dinner with my mom; i probably will, eat again for 3-4 days and then do another 3 day fast

~36 hours into water fast. sharpened thinking, also sharpened pain catching up to me as the stark reminder that quickly puts me into my place every so often once i am in a high flow state

yesterday had grand oat milk drink + 4 shots of toffee nut syrup, + mcdonalds fudge sundae + 1 tall can coconut water; feels like way more inflammation than this weight details, probably am dehydrated and inflammatory water weight will catchup tomorrow

had Starbucks “grande steamed oat milk” drink yesterday as only sugar/inflammatory; the higher inflammation is allowing me to agitate my body more than i should be, it’s going to catch up with me sooner than later; can’t think or direct myself so well, but there isn’t anything i really need to do now, so no pressure or stress from needing to get something done - just waiting until surgery Feb 21st, where high probability the vast majority of my pain will be gone, 1st of 2 peripheral nerve neck surgeries

sigh. it is what it is. saturday evening couldn't fight the pain i was grounding into strongly from using up mental energy night before, had to give into eating "healthy junk" from Alternity, and then next day continued with the inflammatories-sugars-caffeine. i will try to keep it to a planned/expected crash landing once weekly where i keep the junk to only two days. it only will likely happen 4-5 more times, 4-5 more weeks, until hopefully my hopefully my last surgery will be - and if pain is gone then and function returns, then hallelujah, otherwise either way i will then no longer have to deal with constantly fighting the pain and crashing into weekly or being completely stuck and overwhelmed by it and lost in it for weeks or months at

i FINALLY found my old weight log that i started in 2018 ... i started water fasting + carnivore diet at ~235 lbs 😱 so now i can add that data. i lost ~10 lbs/month for 5-8 months doing just carnivore diet (meat only). after the pain became too much, at one point i stopped trying to resist comfort eating to try to cope, i "let myself go" and only once i hit ~235 - had an embarrassing experience at a party in San Francisco, where i was for stem cell treatments - and then hearing about meat-only diets via Jordan Peterson (or maybe through his daughter first), i decided to try it - along with water fasting, after seeing a video by Dr. Jason Fung
